Capture
The signed-in capture page provides the desktop starting point and creates a temporary QR handoff. A browser-camera option remains available when the current computer has a usable camera and moving to a phone is unnecessary.
Workflow guide
Capture is easiest when the next angle is clear, the phone is already available, and a completed listing lands where editing will happen. VehiclePhoto supports a signed QR handoff from desktop to phone, a guided browser capture sequence, normal uploads for photos already taken, and a batch path when many completed listings need the same treatment.
Real product surfacesThe signed-in capture page provides the desktop starting point and creates a temporary QR handoff. A browser-camera option remains available when the current computer has a usable camera and moving to a phone is unnecessary.
The temporary phone page validates a signed, store-scoped token and accepts the intended vehicle type. It grants upload into that capture session rather than general account access, and the link expires after about an hour.
Drag photos, a folder, or a ZIP archive into the upload surface. Images are validated and grouped into listings while originals remain untouched, which allows a current camera roll or supplied archive to enter without a reshoot.
After capture, select whole listings for a consistent processing recipe and brand template. The estimate appears before it starts, progress stays visible per photo, and a failed row exposes retry instead of disappearing inside a single opaque job.
Open Capture on the desktop, choose the intended vehicle type, and scan the generated QR with the phone camera. Confirm the temporary page opens without exposing the rest of the account.
Follow the live shot list through exterior, interior, identification, and detail angles. Finish the session and verify every accepted image lands in the correct library set before leaving the vehicle.
Open Upload with a second, previously photographed vehicle. Drop its folder or ZIP and compare the grouping result with the guided listing, proving that older work does not need to be captured again.
Select both listings, inspect the image count and credit estimate, apply the chosen recipe, and watch progress. Retry a failed item if one appears, then hand the completed set to the review workflow.
The same listing crosses capture, review, brand, delivery, and account controls. Continue with the adjacent workflows that share those handoffs.
Capture itself can be tested within the free five-credit trial. Finished standard photos consume one credit each, with plans beginning at $49 per month and a $39 Listing Pass available for one listing. Estimate from the full shot list, not a single hero image.
FAQ
No. The QR opens a temporary browser capture page on the phone. Existing photos can also be uploaded from a folder or ZIP, and a signed-in desktop can use its own browser camera when that is the easier path.
The QR contains a signed capture token scoped to one store and intended to expire after about an hour. It permits the capture upload flow, not general navigation through the account. A forged or expired token shows a renewal message.
A completed phone session uploads into the studio for the scoped store. Normal uploads group photos into listings using listing information and shoot context. Check the destination set at the end of the first trial before repeating the workflow at volume.
