How to export your photos from MotorCut (and move to VehiclePhoto)
Save processed results to durable local storage from whichever device already holds the work, then verify the full library before cancellation. MotorCut documents downloads in both its web and mobile applications, giving you a clear route to desktop files or a phone gallery.
Ownership
What you own
MotorCut does not state this publicly
Ask MotorCut to confirm in writing who owns uploaded originals and processed results, and whether both remain usable after termination. Keep the response with the export because a working download control does not by itself settle future rights.
Export
Get your images
MotorCut says processed results are available to view and download on its web and mobile applications. It names the camera gallery and desktop files as the destinations, so choose the route that leaves the most organized, full-quality archive.
- Download processed results. Open the processed results in the MotorCut web or mobile application. Download them to the desktop files or phone camera gallery, then copy mobile saves into the same backed-up folder structure as desktop downloads. Source

Move into VehiclePhoto
Desktop files usually provide the cleanest migration base; phone-gallery copies may need extra sorting because device dates and filenames can differ. Sort by vehicle, remove exact duplicates without discarding originals, and retain a separate reference folder for the processed look you want to compare.
- Bulk uploader. Open a listing, then drag and drop the image set into the bulk uploader. Individual images and folders can enter together, and the original files remain untouched.
- ZIP uploader. Choose a ZIP archive when the export arrives as one package. The uploader expands supported image files so you can check the listing before processing begins.
- REST API v1 ingest. For files already hosted at HTTPS URLs, send each URL to /api/v1/ingest with a REST API v1 key instead of downloading and uploading it by hand.
- Phone-capture QR handoff. When a missing angle needs a new photo, open phone capture on a computer and scan its QR handoff. The phone adds that image to the same work without a separate app.
Migration boundary
What carries over
Nothing automatic — there is no MotorCut connector. Downloaded photographs can move, while application projects, processing modes, credit records, presets, folder state, and account history stay behind. Recreate the presentation in VehiclePhoto from an approved sample rather than assuming old settings are embedded in every file.
Final check
Before you cancel
- Download from the web application when you want a desktop-first archive, or move camera-gallery files off the phone immediately. Do not leave the sole export on a device that may optimize storage. Source
- MotorCut says data of non-active users may be held for up to twelve months after termination for service improvement or legal compliance. The policy does not state an image-download window after cancellation. Source
- Request written confirmation of ownership and post-termination use for originals and processed results, because MotorCut’s privacy policy does not state them.
- Compare the web and mobile folders before merging them. Match by visual content and vehicle identifier so renamed phone copies do not create missing angles or unexplained duplicates.
- Test one complete listing through VehiclePhoto, including images with branding or plate treatment. Confirm that the selected workflow preserves the facts shown in the original photograph.
FAQ
Questions
Where can MotorCut results download?
MotorCut says processed results can be downloaded through its web or mobile application, either to desktop files or a phone camera gallery. Consolidate both destinations into one backed-up archive before counting the migration complete.
Does twelve months mean access?
No. The privacy policy says some data may be held for up to twelve months after termination, but that is not a promise that an inactive account can still download images. Save required results while normal access remains available.
How do phone files move?
Copy them from the camera gallery to a computer or backed-up cloud folder, organize them by vehicle, and use browser upload or a ZIP. Use the phone-capture QR handoff only for new angles that were never in the export.
